As we are experiencing a major decline in confident, self esteem and a rise to suicide cases in teenagers living with HIV and AIDS, Teens Support Foundation seeks to promote the process of participatory, self-reliant, sustainable development of the HIV teens so as to help them alleviate poverty, discrimination and achieve their potential and empowerment.
To strive for Socio-Economic and personal empowerment of teenagers living with HIV& AIDS and their families while providing a service which betters their welfare and empowerment through education, training and helping to create awareness and motivates these teenagers to contribute to a dynamic civil society
A March of Confidence : 4th of May 2013
The project seeks to recruit at least 500 HIV infected and affected teens through the medium of radio and set up community recruitment centre in schools, hospitals and shopping malls. The teens will march from Rowten Row Court to the Harare Gardens where speakers will address them and selected musicians treat them to some entertainment. The speakers will address the teens on peer education, sexual & reproductive health rights promotion, Home Based Care and Economic Empowerment
